Welcome to Cedarcrest Hospitals Limited (“Cedarcrest”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our website, Cedarcrest Mobile App, online services (including virtual consultations), or receiving healthcare services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Notice (linked below). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Virtual Consultations
- Our platforms offer virtual consultation services where you can schedule appointments with our licensed healthcare providers.
- Appointment times and dates are subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred schedule, but we cannot guarantee any specific time slot.
- Payment for virtual consultations must be made in advance through our secure online registration form or app. We use reputable third-party payment processors compliant with Central Bank of Nigeria regulations.
- Virtual consultations are for non-emergency advice only. They do not replace in-person examination where clinically necessary. In emergencies, seek immediate physical care or call emergency services.
2. Refunds and Credits
- Virtual consultation fees are non-refundable due to scheduling and provider allocation.
- If you are unable to attend or cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice, we will convert the full payment into a credit valid for 12 months in your patient account on our Healthcare Management System (HMS).
- Credits may be applied toward future virtual consultations or other eligible services. Credits are non-transferable, non-cashable, and expire after 12 months.
- No credits or refunds apply for no-shows without at least 24 hours’ prior notice or for consultations completed as scheduled.
3. Limitation of Liability
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to our services. We use reasonable commercial efforts to maintain reliability, but we are not liable for disruptions due to force majeure, technical issues beyond our control, internet failures, or third-party actions.
- Our healthcare providers are duly licensed by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and registered with relevant professional bodies. They exercise professional judgment during consultations, but we make no warranties (express or implied) regarding the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or outcomes of any advice, diagnosis, or treatment provided virtually.
- To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Cedarcrest, its affiliates, providers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or health outcomes.
- Our total liability (if any) shall not exceed the fee paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
4. Data Protection and Privacy
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) 2025, as enforced by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
