Overview

Dr Olukemi Lawani is an Orthopaedic surgeon with special interest in children’s Orthopaedics. 

She had her undergraduate medical training at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria graduating in 2007. She had postgraduate training in Orthopaedics and Trauma at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria. She is a fellow of the AO / ASIF and has had fellowship training in trauma at the Hadassah University Hospital, Ein kerem, Jerusalem, Israel (2016). She has had post fellowship training in Paediatric Orthopaedics from the Royal hospital for children, Glasgow, Scotland (2019 – 2022). 

She serves as faculty for residents’ teaching programs in Trauma and Orthopaedics in Nigeria through the auspices of the Nigerian Orthopaedic Association, and the AO alliance foundation.

Olukemi Lawani is passionate about ensuring the highest standards of care for every child through integrated care. She is a keen advocate for especially vulnerable children and volunteers with charity organizations to bring specialist care within reach of more children.
